Will your PSoC compiler co-exist with the IC compiler? ie. will the developer be able to switch compilers back and forth as he has to work on new projects and also work on maintaining old projects.

Yes, the compilers will happily co-exist.

Will a project get tied with one particular compiler?

Not unless you write code that is specific to one compiler or another - we have gone to some lengths to ensure compatibility between our compiler and Imagecraft.

Our compiler does produce much smaller code, so if you take advantage of this to add extra features, then you would certainly reach a point where the project can no longer be compiled by Imagecraft because it would be too big for the ROM.

Is higher efficiency of the new compiler restricted to projects using dynamic reconfig? Can we get such better efficiency in projects without Dyn reconf also?

The higher efficiency applies to the C code only, but applies to any C code.

It's not really relevant whether you use dynamic reconfig or not, since this involves PSoC Designer generated usermodule code (in assembler) but of course since you can fit much more functionality into the product due to smaller compiled code, it would certainly assist with using dynamic reconfiguration.

Does the new compiler support all PSoC devices (ones with multi page memory and also ones with single page memory)?

Yes.

Can we get a evaluation version?

From right here.

What is the price?
